Movie Review - The Lego Movie

It's a movie about LEGO!  What more needs to be said?  Enjoy the ride!
Metalbeard was a cyborg from the get go?  Couldn't others do the same?
Emmet is a cog in the working class machine who stumbles into an adventure that has him crossing multiple worlds, building relationships with amazing individuals, risking life and limb in impossible situations and all the while questioning what it means to be special.
Great joke but only Superfriends watchers would get the invisible jet part, aaaw.
How could a movie about toys coming to life not be hugely popular?  Especially when it's about Lego?  It's not just the kids but also the adult nostalgia punch.  The story telling is absolutely crazy, jumping from hilarious situation to another.  It may be considered hyperactive but it's just too much fun!  It's an explosion of color, action and laughter in a barrel of awesome!
Spaceship!  Spaceship!  SPACESHIP!SPACESHIP!SPACESHIP!
There's also a deeper aspect underneath.  It is hinted in the special status but it's not even exactly that.  Saying more would give away the huge twist which was a secret pretty well kept but possible to suss out. Be warned that tears may be induced, depending on your frame of reference.
Hey!  Where's a pic of Emmet?
There's really not much to say but, as the theme shouts, "Everythig is AWESOME!".  Go watch it now!  You won't be disappoint!
I love you, Good Cop!  You love your parents!
SPOILERS!!!  Don't read unless you've see the movie or risk the wrath of Bad Cop and his chair affairs.  Photos provided by Warner Brothers Pictures.

Actually, Emmet IS special.  Because he was the one who received that vision right from the start.  If it was certain that anyone touching the piece got the vision, then the special really could have been anyone who found it,

His making those jerky movements on the table in real life was freaky!

Bad Cop was great.  Good Cop too.  But Spaceman Benny was just aaaaaawesome!  Spaceship!
Batman even had a song.
Batman being Wyldstyle's boyfriend seemed a bit strange but only because Wyldstyle isn't part of the DC universe.  Perhaps if it was only imagined by one party.  Bruce Wayne is a playboy, after all.

Unikitty needing to turn violent to be effective seemed like a cheap laugh.  I would have been happier if she could defeat foes with the power of  building cuteness, haha.
What the heck does Vitruvius mean?
There was actually death!  He comes back as a ghost but it was still an accepted death!  Shocking!
Nice extending shoes.
Yes, I shed man tears at the father son parts.

Would have been nice if Bionicle and Technic was used more, honestly.  It's not always just bricks.

Why was Green Lantern made into a dope?  Sure, it's the Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum bit but it does the Lantern franchise a disservice.
I prefer the name Wyldstyle.
Including Lloyd Garmadon of Ninja Go was awesome but maybe he could have had a bigger role?  The series was pretty big.  Ninja Turtle Michelangelo being there was awesome too.
